Stockmarsh — inventory management console
A concept inventory console for a small wholesaler: product and SKU management, stock-level alerts, purchase orders and supplier records.

This is an illustrative concept study, not a client engagement. It describes a reference approach rather than delivered results.
Stock-outs and over-ordering are both expensive, and both come from the same cause: nobody can see stock levels clearly enough, early enough. This concept makes the current position and the exceptions obvious.
The challenge
Stock-outs and over-ordering are both expensive, and both come from the same cause: nobody can see stock levels clearly enough, early enough. This concept makes the current position and the exceptions obvious.
Our approach
The console centres on a product list with live stock status, surfaces low and out-of-stock items automatically, and keeps purchase orders and suppliers one click from the products they relate to.
Key features
- Product and SKU catalogue with search and category filters
- Stock-level badges with low-stock thresholds
- Purchase order tracking by supplier
- Stock-by-category reporting
The stack
React front end with a managed relational database; stock movements recorded as transactions so levels are always auditable.
What this demonstrates
A practical inventory pattern for small product businesses — visibility first, automation where it earns its keep.
