This is an illustrative concept study, not a client engagement. It describes a reference approach rather than delivered results.

On this page

Independent design studios compete on taste, but most studio websites hide the portfolio behind generic templates and make it hard to start a conversation. This concept shows how a small studio could present rooms, explain its process and capture enquiries in one calm, considered site.

The challenge

Independent design studios compete on taste, but most studio websites hide the portfolio behind generic templates and make it hard to start a conversation. This concept shows how a small studio could present rooms, explain its process and capture enquiries in one calm, considered site.

Our approach

We structured the site around the way clients actually choose a designer: browse finished rooms, understand the process, then enquire. The visual language is warm and editorial, with large photography, generous spacing and a muted palette that lets the work lead.

Key features

  • Room-by-room portfolio with category filtering
  • Service pages explaining scope and typical engagement
  • Guided enquiry form that captures room type, budget and timeline
  • Fully content-managed through the built-in CMS

The stack

React with TanStack Start for fast, server-rendered pages, Tailwind CSS for the design system, and a managed database and media library behind the admin CMS.

What this demonstrates

A complete, content-managed marketing site pattern for service businesses whose product is visual — photography-first layouts, clear service pages and a low-friction enquiry path.
