Draftdove — AI email drafting assistant
A concept assistant that drafts email replies in your tone: pick a thread, choose formal, friendly or concise, and edit a suggested reply before sending.

This is an illustrative concept study, not a client engagement. It describes a reference approach rather than delivered results.
Routine email consumes hours of a working week, and most of it is rewriting the same careful sentences. The risk with AI drafting is replies that do not sound like you — or worse, that send themselves.
The challenge
Routine email consumes hours of a working week, and most of it is rewriting the same careful sentences. The risk with AI drafting is replies that do not sound like you — or worse, that send themselves.
Our approach
Draftdove keeps the human in charge: it drafts a reply for a selected thread, offers tone variants, and never sends anything. Every draft is edited by a person before it leaves.
Key features
- Draft replies generated from the thread context
- Tone selection: formal, friendly, concise
- Side-by-side edit before sending
- No automatic sending — the human always approves
The stack
A server-side AI gateway generates drafts; the mailbox connection is read-only, and sending stays with the user's mail client.
What this demonstrates
An assistive-AI pattern that saves drafting time while keeping judgement — and the send button — with the person.
